Murals is a painting on a wall or a ceiling. Murals are usually big. They may be in public places, such as the outside of a building, or indoors.

Hieroglyphics A system of writing made up of thousands of picture symbols developed by the ancient Egyptians.
Linguist Someone who studies foreign languages.
TROJAN HORSE the story of the Trojan Horse comes from a book called The Iliad and the Odyssey. The Trojan Horse story inspired many famous ancient Greeks.
GREAT WALL OF CHINA The Great Wall of China was built to keep out nomads(people who wandered from place to place) from invading.
HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON Hanging Gardens of Babylon- debated by historians if it existed. Hanging Gardens are one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.
GUPTA EMPIRE ACHIEVEMENTS Some of their achievements include: using mathematics to assist with engineering; creating games like chess; and using the Sanskrit language to keep historical records.
ROMAN COLOSSEUM Held gladiator fights
ROSETTA STONE Rosetta Stone- Important to translating Egyptian hieroglyphics Very little was known/understood about hieroglyphics until it was founded by French military commander Napoleon Bonaparte.
