Vocabulary Test for 7 Wonders of the World

TermDefinition
Legacy What a person leaves behind when they die.
Mythology The stories about supernatural beings in early times, which were told from generation to generation.
Epic A long narrative poem.
Dynasty A line of rulers from the same family.
Maladies aliment/disease
Murals a painting on a wall or a ceiling. Murals are usually big. They may be in public places, such as the outside of a building, or indoors.
Astronomy The study of stars and planets.
Hieroglyphics A system of writing made up of thousands of picture symbols developed by the ancient Egyptians.
Linguist Someone who studies foreign languages.
