Religion Not much is known, but archaeologists have discovered temples and religious artifacts. They also had something known a The Baths which historians believed were for religious purification ceremonies. Polytheistic.
Job specializations Government leaders, priests, kings, scribes, artisans, farmers,traders, sailors, sculptures, and engineers.
Cities Harapa and Mohenjo- Daro (along with 1500 other settlements.
Government Believed to have strong central government, but not much is understood due to not yet understanding the language. Possible laws and kings who led the people
Language/record keeping system -Early form of Sanskrit (dead language- not deciphered.) -Records written on clay tablets by scribes -Had an advanced numbers system using place value & the infinity symbol -Several stone seals were found throughout the cities
Technology Well planned cities built in a grid like pattern, thick walls surrounding the cities for protections, study brick houses up to 3 floors high with sewer systems and indoor bathrooms. Advanced irrigation systems.
Social Hierarchy Rulers, priests, nobles, scribes, artisans, farmers, etc. Peaceful people with no set or rigid social classes.
Adapted to and modified environment Advanced irrigation systems and flood control systems.
