TermDefinition
Natural resources Something found in nature that is useful to people
Community A place where people live, work, and have fun together
Region An area with common physical features that are different from other places
Geography The study of the physical feature of the earth
Rural community A countryside community with more nature than people
Renewable resources A resource that can be replaced in a short time (soil, trees)
Urban community A city community with many people
Archaelogists Scientists who study objects to learn about the past
Non-renewable resources A resource that cannot be replaced after it is used (like coal, oil, and natural gas)
Culture The way of life of a group of people (how people choose to live their lives)
Custom An accepted way of behavior or doing something (like bowing in Japan, shaking hands in the US)
Tradition A custom or belief that has been passed down over many generations
Hemispheres The two parts the the earth is divided into; a half of the earth (North/South or East/West)
