Yangtze River -longest & largest river in China (longest river in Asia)
Hwang Ho (Yellow River) 2nd longest river in China -It is called this because huge amounts of loess sediment turn the water
Loess Fine yellowish light silt deposited by wind and water. It makes the fertile soil of the Yellow River Valley in northern China.

Oracle Bones The earliest known Chinese writing is found on these from ritual activity of the Shang period.
