| boycott | withdraw from commercial relations as a punishment or protest. |
| repeal | revoke or annul a law or congressional act. |
| indirect tax | included in the cost of goods and are often overlooked by consumers. |
| parole | a promise given by a prisoner of war not to escape or, if released, not to engage in hostilities. |
| attrition | gradually reducing the strength of someone through sustained attack or pressure. |
| military campaign | a series of military operations meant to achieve a particular goal, confined to a particular area, or using a specified type of fighting. |
| perspective | a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view. |
| delegate | a person sent or authorized to represent others, in particular an elected representative sent to a conference. |
