Cost plus A government contract to pay a manufacture the cost to produce an item plus a guaranteed percentage.
Liberty ship Basic cargo ship udes by the us during world war 2.
Disenfranchise To deprive of the right to vote
Rationing The giving out of scare items on a limited basis.
Victory garden Gardens planted by american citizens during war to raise vegetable for home use leaving more for the troops.
Napalm A jellied used for bombs.
Convoy system A system in which merchantships travel with naval vessels for protection.
Amphtrac An amphibious tractor used to move troops from ship to share.
Kamikaze During world war 2 a japanese suicide pilot whose mission was to crush into his target.
Hedgerow Row of shrubs or trees surrounding a field often on a dirt wall.
