(7) How were the Colonists warned about the battled? The Colonists were warned by Paul Revere and 40 other riders (Midnight Riders) and some of them (3-4) were Woman. "The British are coming."

(7) What is significant about this battle? This was the start of the American revolution, and was known as, "The shot heard around the world."

(9) When did the battle of Bunker hill happen, where was it fought, and what is the commonly used nickname of it. June 16th 1775. The battle happened outside of Boston on the fortified hill known as Breeds hill.
(9) How many Colonist fought there and what were they protected from? Top of the hill was filled with Colonists (Several thousand), and since the hill was fortified they were protected from British fire.
(10) When did the battle of Saratoga happen and who want the battle? The battle occurred from August to October 1777, and the Colonist won the battle.
(10) How did the Colonials won the battle of Saratoga. The British were Harassed by the Colonist using Guerrilla tactics. This stretched the British army out from their supply lines, and forced to Surrender to the Colonials lead by Horatio Gates.
(10) Why was the battle of Saratoga important? Major defeat for the British and made France officially join the war (Helped the Colonists covertly).
(10) What did the French send after the battle of Saratoga? Considered the turning point of the American Revolution, and the French began to supply arms, men, and their navy to help the Colonials.
(11) When did the battle of Yorktown occur? October 1781.
(11) How was the French helping the Colonials? Helped using men, weapons, and warships.
(11) Where was the British? The Americans and French were able to corner the British in a small peninsula, and bombarded them with cannon fire. This forced the British to surrender.
(11) What was significant of this victory? The end of the American Revolution war, with the Colonist winning.
(12) What happened to the 13 Colonies in the treaty of Paris? The 13 Colonies become free, sovereign, and independent states.
(12) What must the British remove? The British must remove all men from forts.
(12) What is the boundary of the United States? Land from the Eastern Seaboard, up the Mississippi river.
(12) What happened to the loyalists? Loyalists would have rights and property protected.
(12) What happened to the slaves? All slaves must be returned to owners.
(13) Who were the 5 founding fathers? Samuel Adams (Leader of the Sons of Liberty), John Adams, Ben Franklin, Patrick Henry (Liberty or Death), Thomas Jefferson, John J.
(13) Where did the First Continental Congress take place? In Philadelphia, 1774.
(13) When was the Declaration of Independence signed? 1776.
(13) When is the USA birthday. July 2nd made, July 4th ratified.
(13) When did the battle of Trenton take place? New Jersey, surprise attack, and at Christmas time.
(13) What was the 3 events that lead to American Revolution? Boston Massacre-1770, Burning of the Gaspy-1772, and Boston Tea Party-1773 (Patriots dressed as Mohalk Indians, and threw crates of tea in the harbor)
