What were the roles of men + woman? men fished, hunted, built homes, and fought in wars. woman cooked, grew crops, collected syrup, took care of children and made cloths.
What care the ¨3 Sisters¨? Squash, Beans, corn
What were the Iroquois homes like? They were made out of wood and were called ¨ long houses¨ They had a fire in the middle for warmth and cooking and would home both nuclear family and Extended family.
What are wampums? They are bead made out of clamshells that had different colors and when many are put on a belt, The wampum beads can be read as a book also they used wampums to record history.
Archeology The stud of human civilization and human history and artifacts and the study of prehistory.
Pre-columbian The history and culture before 1492.
nuclear family vs. Extended family Nuclear family: parents and children. Extended family: and other family member that is not the parents or a child.
matrilineal vs. Patrilineal Matrilineal: moms side of family Patrilineal: dads side of family
