| longitude | lines run north to south; measures Earth in east-to-west direction |
| landform | a natural feature of the land |
| geography | study of Earth and its peoples, places, and environments |
| absolute location | exact location of something |
| Prime Meridian | 0 degrees longitude line that runs through greenwich, England |
| climate | pattern of weather in a place over a long period of time |
| spatial | Earth's features of location, shape, and relationship to one another |
| latitude | lines run east to west; measures Earth in north-to-south direction |
| region | places that are close to one another and share characteristics |
| resource | materials that can be used to produce crops or toher products |
