Even though more settlers were arriving, the village had burned down, and rats ate many of their supplies while a route to the colony. Despite these setbacks, what did John Smith do? | John Smith kept the colony going. |
John Smith had to leave for England after being injured and never returned. The Powhatan took this opportunity to starve the colonists. What did The Powhatan tribe do? | They surrounded the village, killed all the game around it, and killed anyone who tried to leave. |
