When Rolfe and Pocahontas had a child, and they travelled to England to help promote the Virginia Colony and tobacco sales, what happened to Pocahontas? | She died on the way back home. |
When Chief Powhatan died a couple of years later, what did is brother do? | He became chief and decided to kill off all the colonists. |
What did the new chief try to do to lull the colonists into a false sense of security? | He did it by maintaining peace for four years! |
What did the natives do on one trading expedition to the colony? | They attacked and killed about 350 colonists including John Rolfe. |
This massacre prompted the Jamestown settlers to do what? | It prompted them to start attacking Native Americans, burning their crops and villages, killing many and driving most of them from Virginia. |
