| Nomads | people who move from place to place as a group to find food for themselves |
| Neolithic Age/New Stone Age | relating to the latest period of the Stone Age |
| Agricultural Revolution | a turning point 10,000 years ago when humans began to raise plants and animals |
| Domesticate | to adapt an animal to living with humans for the advantage of humans |
| Hunter-Gatherer | a group of nomadic people who survived by hunting and gathering over a large region, also known as a forager |
| Sedentary agriculture | planting the same crops on the same piece of land year after year |
