Primary source primary sources are writings or recordings that were created by someone who witnessed or lived through a historical event.
Secondary source secondary sources are writings, recordings, or objects created after an event by someone who did not see it or live during the time when it occured.
Oral history oral history is a recorded interview with a person whose experiences and memories have historical significance.
Pompeii Pompeii is an ancient city/a vast archaeological site in southern Italy's Compania region.
Emperor an emperor is a ruler with great power and rank, especially one ruling an empire.
Aqueduct an aqueduct is a channel for conveying water, most likely in the form of a bridge across a valley or other gap.
Parables a simple story used to ilustrate a moral or spiritual lesson.
Epistles a letter, or poem.
Catacombs an underground cemetery that contains of a subterranean gallery with recesses for tombs.
Sacked to remove someone from a job.
