failing to stop to check for trains at an unprotected railway crossing (this applies to bus drivers only) | 5 DEMERIT POINTS |
exceeding the posted speed limit by 30 to 49 km/hour | 4 DEMERIT POINTS |
following another vehicle too closely | 4 DEMERIT POINTS |
holding or using a hand-held wireless communications or entertainment device while driving | 3 DEMERIT POINTS |
operating a vehicle while looking at a display screen unrelated to the task of driving | 3 DEMERIT POINTS |
exceeding the speed limit by 16 to 29 km/hour | 3 DEMERIT POINTS |
