National Government The government, or political authority, that controls a nation.
Election of 2008 Barack Obama was elected the first African American president of the United States.
War on Terror An ongoing international military campaign launched by the United States government following the September 11 attacks.
Space The expanse that exists beyond Earth and between celestial bodies.
Innovation To improve or to replace something.
Technology Science or knowledge put into practical use to solve problems or invent useful tools.
Neil Armstrong An American astronaut and aeronautical engineer, and the first person to walk on the Moon.
Space Program An independent agency of the U.S. federal government responsible for the civilian space program, as well as aeronautics and space research.
