Adaptation and Modification of the Environment

TermDefinition
Adaptation The adjustment of organisms to their environment in order to improve their chances at survival in that environment.
Environment The sum total of conditions that surrounds us at a given point of time and space.
Human Modification Changing something about the environment (cutting down forests, mining, building roads, etc.) to make the environment that you live in work "better" for you.
Positive Changes Changes that make the environment better.
Negative Changes Changes that make the environment worse (pollution etc...)
