Paul Revere Was a memmber of the Sons of Liberty; He enlisted the aid of Robert Newman. Newman was to climb on the Old North Church and watch to see if any British soldiers were coming.

Thomas Paine He wrote about Common Sense, a 47 page panphlet showing that the King wasn’t treating them right, it was common sense that you could do something about it.

General Howe (British) He was supposed to go up and meet in Albany, but decided to go down to Philadelphia to capture
General John Burgoyne Took the fleet down the lake Champlain
Marquis de Lafayette He was the leader of the Prussian French fleet
Baron Friedrich von Steuben He was from the middle of Germany. He trained Wasington’s army after the Winter in Valley Forge.
Bernardo de Gálvez Governor of Spanish Louisiana that captured some main British cities
John Paul Jones Merican naval officer famed for bravery, he defeated the british Serapis
Francis Marion Patrot; organized the sodiers. He and people in the South helped him and gave him time to recouperate.
Comte de Rochambeau French solider that commanded the French troops in the Revolutionary War. He fought along side George Washington.
General Charles Cornwallis (British) Knows a lot about war. He takes over for the British while there in the south. The Americans were in Valley Forge while this was happening.
