This was the purchase of the Louisiana Territory from France and became the middle part of the US Louisiana Purchase
Treaty signed with Spain that allowed the US to use the Mississippi River Pinckney's Treaty

The kidnapping of American sailors from ships and forcing them to serve in the British Navy impressment
President Jefferson passed this law to try and stop impressment. This law said that US ships could not travel anywhere and stopped all trade. Embargo of 1807
