Monotheistic Religion Vocabulary

covenant an agreement
missionary a person sent to spread their religion
monotheism the belief in one god
polytheism the belief in many gods
religion set of beliefs followed by a group of people
theology the study of god and religious beliefs
diffusion the spreading of something more widely
extremism the following of a belief that is outside of acceptable (violent)
ritual something that is performed in order to honor god or gods
atheist believes there is no god
agnostic questions whether god exists
