Absolute Chronology Determines an age of a feature or event in years.
Coast The part of land near the sea; edge of the land
Conflicting territorial claims A territorial dispute or boundary dispute is a disagreement over the possession of control
defining characteristics A property defining the traits of things.
eras A span of time defined for the purposes of chronology or historical geography.
explorations Traveling somewhere that is unknown
gold Some kind of rich, like silver and jewels
historians An expert in or student of history, mostly in the particular period of time.
major eras An important time and place of certain events
mapping A way to write out certain ways historians went and to also keep data of things.
relative chronology Determines the age of a feature or event relative to the age of other features.
settlement A place that usually hasn't been established yet or uninhabited. Where people establish a community.
1519 De Pineda commanded a Spanish Expedition that sailed along the Gulf of Mexico coastline.
De Vaca De Vaca was second in the expedition and he wanted to claim the territory of Florida to Mexico and Spain.
De Pineda De Pineda commanded the Spanish expedition that sailed along the Gulf of Mexico coastline from Florida to Cabo Rajo, Mexico, in 1519.
