Major eras | Geology a major division of geological time, divided into several periods |
Mapping | An operation that associates each element of a given set (the domain) with one or more elements of a second set (the range) |
Relative chronology | A chronology that determines the age of a feature or event relative to the age of other features or events |
Settlement | The process of settling in a new community |
