Renaissance

Renaissance the activity, or time of the great revival of art, literature, and learning in Europe beginning in the 14th century and extending to the 17th century making the transistion from the mid-evil to the modern world also known as the rebirth.
Humanism A "smart" movement in the Renaissance that was all about education and the classical's things.
Renaissance Man A well rounded man who was good at most everything, and had lots of skills, and was very smart.
Patron Someone who gives money, to the arts in Renaissance time.
Realism An artistic stage, where everyone wanted to show the world as it really was.
Protestant A person who Protested the Catholic Religion, at the time.
Reformation A goal of the Protestant's to reform the Catholic church.
Vernacular Everyday language that ordinary people would speak.
Indulgences Pardon for people's sins, in the Catholic church.
Heretic A babtized Catholic who wants to and constantly rejects faith.
Excommunicated Kicked out of a church for being bad.
Inquisition Church court set up to try people accused of heresy
Anti-Semitism Discrimination of Jews.
