TermDefinition
Region Area of land that has similar characteristics.
Climate The weather
Geography The study of the physical features of the earth's surface.
Archaeologist A person whose job it is to excavate artifacts and use them to study the past.
Archaeology The study of the past through the excavation of artifacts.
Excavate to remove the surface by carefully digging.
Artifact A man made object from the past.
Natural Resource A resource that comes from nature (ex. trees, animals, grass, rocks)
Capital Resource A man made resource. (ex. boat, house, canoe, pen)
Human Resource A person doing a job, (ex. archaeologist, firefighter, teacher, cashier)
