TermDefinition
Fiction literature that describes imaginary events and people
Non-Fiction prose writing that is based on facts, real events, and real people, such as biography or history
Genre category of artistic composition, as in music or literature, characterized by similarities in form, style, or subject matter
Fact a piece of information used as evidence or as part of a report or news article
Opinion a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge
Authority a person or organization having power or control in a particular, typically political or administrative, sphere
Credibility the quality of being trusted and believed in
Bias prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair
Primary Sources document that contains information obtained by research or by observing something carefully
Secondary Sources one that was created later by someone who did not experience first-hand or participate in the events or conditions you're researching
