| air pollution | the presence of substances in the atmosphere that are harmful to the health of humans and other living things or cause damage to the environment. |
| environment | the surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates. |
| emissions | the release of gases such as CO2, that are harmful to the environment (air quality). |
| air quality | the condition of the air within our surroundings. |
| rural | any open country, town, village, or city which is not part of an urban area |
| urban | Related to a city. |
| deforestation | the action of clearing a wide area of trees. |
| industrial | has to do with industry or factories. |
| migration | the movement of people from one place to another new location (geographic region). |
| Mexico City, Mx | capital of the country Mexico. |
| smog | fog or haze combined with smoke and other atmospheric pollutants. |
| Amazon Rainforest | is a moist broadleaf forest that covers most of the Amazon Basin of South America; also known as Amazon jungle. |
| destruction | the action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired. |
| pollution | the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects. |
| global warming | the process that causes the Earth's temperature to rise and makes the Earth warmer. |
