Atlantic Slave The Atlantic slave trade or transatlantic slave trade involved the transportation by slave traders of enslaved African people

Pan-Africanism the principle or advocacy of the political union of all the indigenous inhabitants of Africa.
Apartheid (in South Africa) a policy or system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race.
Genocide the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation.
Arab Spring The Arab Spring was a series of anti-government protests, uprisings, and armed rebellions
Islamism Islamic militancy or fundamentalism.
Oasis a fertile spot in a desert, where water is found.
savanna a grassy plain in tropical and subtropical regions, with few trees.
copts a member of the Coptic Church.
indigenous originating or occurring naturally in a particular place; native.
corruption dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.
call center an office set up to handle a large volume of telephone calls, especially for taking orders and providing customer service.
CFA franc the basic monetary unit of Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, and the Central African Republic, equal to 100 centimes.
Deforestation the action of clearing a wide area of trees.
Desertification the process by which fertile land becomes desert, typically as a result of drought, deforestation, or inappropriate agriculture.
Nongovernmental Organization Organizations which are independent of government involvement are known as non-governmental organizations or NGOs.
