What is a phenotype The observable traits or characteristics in an organism
What is an example of a phenotype Behavior, color, shape, and size
What is a genotype The genetic makeup of a cell, therefore makes up one of its characteristics
What is an example of a genotype Any example of a genotype would just be a chart of a particular living thing's chromosomes, or DNA molecules responsible for various genetic traits.
What is an allele one of two or more alternative forms of a gene that arise by mutation and are found at the same place on a chromosome.
What is an example of an allele The most common example is an allele that the gene determines hair color.
