Georgia under the confederation government

Why are we out for two weeks? A deadly virus called Covid-19 is near us and we do not want to spread the infection by being in school.
What was the colonies first self-government? A confederation
What was a big problem in the colonies? Finances
What was the main government during the American Revolution? The second Continental Congress
What was the confederation government's main purpose? Defend the country and pay its debts
Did the confederation have an executive branch? No
What type of legislature was it? Unicameral
How many states had to agree to change the Articles? All 13
What was Georgias government based off of at the end of the American Revolution? Based off of the Constitution of 1777
What was the most important issue for most citizens? Land
What was most wealth physically showed in? Land
What was done with the loyalists in order for them to get their land back? They had to write a formal request to return
What could soldiers receive in return for their service? Land
How much land did Colonel Elijah Clarke receive? Several thousand
How much land could a head of a family receive? 200 plus 50 for each extra household member
