Cell biology vocab part 1

Field of view The area that you can see
Magnify To visibly enlarge an image.
Microscopy Using a microscope to see things not visible otherwise and recording what you see.
Microbe An organism not visible to the naked eye.
Cell Units that make up living things
Cell theory The theory that living things are made up of cells
Germ theory of Disease The theory that pathogens cause to disease
Unicellular Made up of a single cell
Multicellular An organism made up of multiple cells that each have specific jobs
