QuestionAnswer
What is Equity? A judge can rule an injunction.
What is Injunction? A court order to halt a person or a group to stop and action.
What is a criminal case? Punishment for an offence against person or society.
What is plea barganing? Agrees to plead guilty but to a lesser charge.
A cross examine is what? A witness must answer to both prosecution and defense.
What's a complaint? A formal statement naming the plaintiff and the defendant and describing the nature of the lawsuit.
A plaintiff is what? The party bringing a lawsuit.
A defendant is what? The party being sued.
What is a summons? A document telling the person of the suit against him and ordering a person to appear in cout on a given date and time.
what is a testimony? the answers they give. " the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."
What is Acquittal? Its a vote of not guilty.
What is rehabilitate? Is a correction of a persons behavior. Rather then punish them.
Procedure in a criminal case Arrest. Preliminary Hearing, Indictment, Arraignment, Trial, Either Acquittal or Sentencing.
