Conceptual Clarification ? encourage reflection/critique of ones thoughts & ideas in more depth. Brings clarity of thought enabling impressions & rationale with evidence.
Probing Assumptions Questions that make students critique and reflect on their own sumption or belief which are at the root of their understanding much better.
Probing rational reasons and evidence has An or weaken their arguments through deeper Research into the material
Questioning viewpoints and perspectives Burgers perspective and show that there is more than one way of thinking about a topic
Probe implications and consequences Stimulates to consider the logic of the arguments and evidence. The argument that they give may have logical implications. Can be forecasted.
Questions about questions This method encourages reflection and critical analysis. Can get reflexive a bit the whole discussion by turning the question in on itself.
