Constitutional Monarchy a system of government in which a monarch (king or queen) is strictly limited by a constitution and most of the government powers belong to elected officials (Great Britain, Japan)
Oligarchy government by the few, sometimes a government in which a small group exercises control especially for corrupt and selfish purposes (The citizen has a very limited role) (People’s Republic of China, Libya, Iran)
Dictatorship form of government in which a ruler has absolute power; the citizens do not possess the right to choose their own leaders (North Korea, Cuba, Sudan)
Sultanate similar to a monarchy, but a government in which the supreme power is in the hands of a sultan (the head of an Islamic country)
Totalitarian a government that controls the country without opposition; a government party has strict control of all aspects of life without any opposition
