Wade-Davis Bill Rejecting Lincoln's Ten Percent Plan, it demanded African American equality and a majority of a state's prewar voters to swear loyalty to the Union before restoration could begin.
Freedmen's Bureau Radical Republican plan to provide aide to both African American and white refugees in the South.
Andrew Johnson Replaced Lincoln as President after his assassination. He required ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment and required wealthy Confederates to apply for a presidential pardon.
black codes Laws meant to limit African American rights and keep them as landless workers.

Fourteenth Amendment Guaranteed equality for all citizens.
