| glittering generalities | propaganda technique that uses vague, but positive words to describe a object or subject so it becomes appealing to people. |
| testimonials | propaganda technique that shows an endorsement given by celebrities or trusted individuals (doctors, dentists). |
| citing statistics | propaganda technique where statistics are presented as the only statistics that have been recorded. |
| transfer | Propaganda technique that evokes an emotional response-it makes the audience feel something for the subject/cause. |
| card stacking | Only presenting the information that is positive to an idea or proposal and omitting information that is negative. |
| plain folks | Propaganda technique that uses ordinary, everyday people to relate to the public/consumers. |
