Types of muscles contractions and antagonistic pairs

What is a Concentric contraction increase in muscle tension as it shortens
What is an Eccentric contraction increase in muscle tension as it lengthens
Example of an eccentric muscle contraction? Controlling , slowing, downward movement squat downward phase/press up downward phase
Example of concentric muscle contraction ? A movement that accelerates upward phase of bicep curl/ running
Name a sporting action that uses a concentric muscle contraction? Forehand in tennis / jumping up / bicep curl upward phase / press up upward phase
Name a sporting action that uses an eccentric muscle contraction? Downward phase of squat / running downhill or stairs / downward phase of a jump / landing after a jump / downward phase of a bicep / press up down ward phase
Name a sporting action that uses a isometric muscle contraction? Crouch position of skier / held handstand / plank / weightlifter holding a weight above head
