Math Definitions

There are math terms and then the definition.

TermDefinition
Equation A math sentence that has a variable and no equal sign.
Equals Sign A symbol that shows the answer to the problem.
Variable A letter that is used in a math problem, you use it when you don't know all the information to the problem,
Solution When you find the answer of a math problem or when you find out how to solve a math problem.
Dependent Variable A variable whose value depends upon independent variables.
Independent Variable A variable that is being pulled apart
Graph A picture that shows data
Coordinate point A pair of numbers that define the exact location on a two-dimensional plane.
