petroglyph a picture or engravings on stones or other things, They gave us clues of how the early people lived
pharaoh the leader (King/Queen) of Egypt
prehistoric a time before written records
Primay Source Something written by someone that was there at the event
Secondary Source Something written by someone that was no there at the event
Shell Midden a filled up animal carcus that people would stuff with food or trash
toboggan a sled.
totem an animal that is used as a symbol for a tribe
wampum small shells or beads used to trade and make things.
wigwam a small Native American house
Abanaki -Called them selves the Alnombak, which means "The People"
Penobcott -called the Panawapskak, which means "people of the rocky river"
MicMac -Means "My Friends"
Passamaquoddy -Name comes from the MicMac and it means "talks imperfect"
Paleo -they lived here over 1100 yars ago
