What were the 4 MAIN causes of World War I? Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, and Nationalism.
What is Nationalism? A strong pride in ones nation.
What is Imperialism? The race of the European nations to obtain land and colonies in Africa and Asia.
Who was apart of the Triple Entente? France, Russia, and Great Britain.
Who was apart of the Triple Alliance? Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy
What were the three main reasons for the United States entry into World War I? Propaganda, Germanys policy of Unrestricted submarine warfare, Zimmerman Telegram.
What is militarism? The movement of each nation to have the biggest and strongest military force. (Arms Race)
What is propaganda? Biased information that is meant to sway an audiences opinion.
