Terrace Or flat strips of level land.
Pachacuti He ruled from 1438-1471, he expanded the Inca realm.
Diplomacy Is the management of communication and relationships between people or nations.
Huayna Capac Took power in 1493, during his rule the empire was prosperous and stable. The land he ruled stretched out 2,500 miles.
Heirarchy Is a system for ranking members of a group according to their importance.
Ayllu Was a group or related families that lived in the same location.
Communal Property Owned and managed by the government for public use.
Mita Or labor tax.
Theology Or religious teachings and practices.
Administration Means the management of a government or business.
Quipu A record-keeping device made of knotted strings.
Census Or population survey.
Welfare State A government that takes responsibility for the well-being of its citizens.
