Middle Passage A voyage that brought enslaved Africans to the Americas and the Indies
Loyalists Colonists that sided with Britian in the revolutionary war
Capitol Land or property that is used to gain more money
Plantations A large farm that specializes in on cash crop
Patriots American colonists that fought for indipendence
Bartolome De Las Casas was one of the early Spanish visitors to the New World
Jamestown The first colony in America
Stamp Act of 1765 A law passed that said you have to pay taxes on paper items
Tea Act Parliment allowing the British to sell there low price tea directly to the colonists
