Why did historians name the time period between the 1800s and the early 1900s the Industrial Revolution? Big change. A lot of changes with the factories.
What effect did the steam locomotive (train) effect daily life? farmers could send their goods (things) to almost any city or town faster
What effect did the steam boat affect daily life? fastest and cheapest way to ship goods (things)
Why did the federal government build the National Road? It was wide and paved for smooth travel.
How did the Lowell Mills change the lives of young women or children? They left home to earn money for themselves and their families.
