| Religious Group | Religious Groups share a belief system in a god or gods with a specific set of rituals and literature. |
| philosophy | An ethical system based in goods deeds and morality. And also not a religion. |
| Hinduism | Hinduism is one of the most oldest religions in the world, although there is not a specific start date. |
| Vedas | Aryan priests followed complicated rituals and hymns known as the Vedas. |
| Brahman | A spirit Hindus believed in. |
| Reincarnation | Reincarnation is the belief that, when a person dies, his or her soul does not die. |
| Karma | The belief that your actions that determine your fate in your next life called karma. |
| caste system | The caste system of social classes that are inherited and cannot be changed. |
| Buddhism | The creation of Buddhism begins with a young prince named Siddhartha Gautama around 500 BC. |
| Four Noble Truths | The central teaching of Buddhism is called the Four Noble Truths. |
| Nirvana | Nirvana is a state of perfect peace. |
| Shinto | Shinto is a religion that is unique to Japan. |
| Kami | Kami is a spirit that Shinto followers believe in nature. |
