What was the election of 1800? The election 1800 was when they broke the tie between Burr and Jefferson a peaceful transfer of power between federalist president to a democratic republican president.
What was the Louisiana purchase? The Louisiana purchase was when Jefferson wanted the Port New Orleans and Napoleon was gonna sell it for $15 million.
What did the Touisant O'veture Rebellion do in Haiti? It made it possible for North American French colony.
What did Jefferson struggle with? He struggled with constitutionality of buying it, but he gave in by treaty clause.
What was the goal of the Lewis and Clark Expedition? It was to explore the newly acquired Louisiana Purchase and to find the Northwest Water Passage or water communication.
What was supposed to happen? It was supposed to be the link between the Atlantic Ocean and Pacific ocean.
Who did they make contact with? They made contact with the Native Americans and mapped routes and noted what animals they discovered.
What came from the Second War of Independence? 3 reasons to arrest American Sailors, Interfering with American Shipping, and Native American resistance using British weapons.
What did war do to America? It made America a world power and created great nationalism or pride in the American country.
What was the Monroe Doctrine? It was a document issued by James Monroe that told all European countries to stay out of the affairs or business of North and South America or they would have to deal with America.
What was it basically saying? They would stay out of European wars if they stay out of the Western Hemisphere.
