What determines the number of people in the house? Congress
How long are the terms of representatives? 2 years
What is reapportionment? Directs congress to redistribute the seats in the house.
Who can vote in congressional elections? Any person who can vote for members of the most numerous branch.
How old must a member of the house be? 25
What other qualifications are for representitives? Must be a legal citizen for at least 7 years and must reside in the state they were elected for.
How big is the senate? 100 members, 2 each per state.
How long is the term of senate members? They serve 6 year terms.
How old must senators be? 30
What other qualifications are for the senators? Must be a legal citizen for 9 years, and has to be a resident in the state they were elected for.
Can a member of senate be excluded? Yes with majority vote.
