| City States | A self governing city that also governs nearby cities. (Ex. Ur) |
| Ziggurat | A tall-flat pyramid made of mud-brick at the center of Sumerian cities |
| Polytheism | A belief in many gods and goddesses. |
| EmpireM | Many Kingdoms under power of one ruler |
| Giligamesh | Hero from Sumer who went on a long journey |
| Silt | Mixture of soil and rocks. |
