Spain is a parlimentary mocarchy. What does that mean? Spain has got a parliament and a monarch.
What are the two parts of parliament? The congress and the senate.
Who writes the laws? The congress and the senate (the parliament).
Who votes for the Prime Minister? The congress votes for the Prime Minister.
How many Autonomous Communities are there in Spain? There are seventeen autonomous communities.
Who votes for the Parliament? The citizens over 18 vote for the parliament.
What document explains the rights and responsibilities of Spanish citizens? The Spanish Constitution explains the rights and responsibilities of the Spanish citizens.
How many senators are there in the Senate? There are 260.
What is the currency in the European Union? The Euro.
How many deputies are there in Congress? There are 350
What are the four symbols of every autonmous community? The flag, the coat of arms, the capital, the anthem.
At what age can citizens vote? Citizens can vote at 18.
Who is the King of Spain now? Felipe VI is the King of Spain.
Who is the Prime Minisiter of Spain now? Pedro Sánchez is the Prime Minisiter.
