| diffident | lacking in self-confidence,shy. Kelly is very diffident because she is not popular in her school. |
| assuage | calm or soothe;make less intense;make easier or milder. Security guards assuage people when there is a fight at a club. |
| nonchalance | cool unconcern; indifferent. If i do something wrong, i would try to be nonchalance about it. |
| effigy | an image or statue usually of a person; images burned or hanged to show dislike or contempt. There is an effigy of Abraham Lincoln in Washington D.C. |
| enigmatic | like a riddle,baffling,puzzling. Sometimes i am enigmatic when i talk to people!! |
