Manifest Destiny Belief that God gave Americans the right and duty to expand westward.
Big Stick Policy President Roosevelt used threat of force to advance American foreign policy.
Dollar Diplomacy President Taft used investment (money) in foreign countries to advance American foreign policy.
Moral Diplomacy President Wilson believed America should promote democracy or moral progress in other lands.
