Legislature The law making body of government.
Dictatorship A form of government in witch the political power is held by a self-appointed ruler.
prime minister the head of government in a parliamentary democracy
monarchy ruled by a king or queen
presidential democracy a system of government in witch the president is directly elected by the citizens.
democracy a country or nation that receives its power from the people.
parliamentary democracy executive power is vested in a legislature selects the executive branch.
autocratic one person possesses unlimited government power.
head of state ceremonial position with limited government power; often reserved for a monarch
head of goverment leader of government with the most inflence and power.
executive branch of government responsible for carrying out the laws.
personal freedom basic rights given to citizens that include the right to vote, equal rights and freedom of the press , speech, and religion.
